Here is one of my favorite cookie recipe – chocolate chip cookie recipe. Who can resist the crunchiness of the cookie coupled with the soft melting chocolate? The aroma of the cookie bursting in your mouth, while the sweetness of the chocolate rolls on your tongue, winning over your taste buds. This is the top notch combination which reigns at the number one choice of many cookie fanatics. I have gone over the wall again with my introduction. Let’s start, shall we?
Here is the recipe for 60 cookies:
1.) Let’s start with the flour mixture. Mix these ingredients gently in a mixing bowl.
- 2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of salt
2.) Prepare another mixing bowl and add the following in.
- 1/2 cup Butter (1 stick)
Soften the butter with the microwave oven. Stir every 15 seconds.
3.) Add the following into the butter.
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 3 tablespoon of vanilla extract
Mix well with the butter.
4.) Now, it’s time for the eggs.
- 2 eggs
Add the first egg in and beat until creamy. Do the same for the second egg.
5.) Remember the flour mixture?
Just like the eggs, add 1/2 cup of flour mixture into the bowl while beating. Repeat for the remaining 1/2 cup.
6.) Time for the Lead Actor!
- 1 12oz packet sweet chocolate chips
- 1 4 oz chopped walnuts
Add these into the dough. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
7.) Before taking out the cookies, pre heat the oven to 375F 15 minutes earlier.
8.)Place a cookie sheet and scoop the dough onto it. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes, and remember to check for brown edges. Once the aroma has filled the kitchen and the cookie is golden brown, they are good to go. You are the cookie master! Viola!
